Introducing an Accountant for the issuance of a Greek tax registration number (called ΑΦΜ in Greek). If you don’t have a tax registration number you cannot purchase any kind of property in Greece
Opening of a bank account in a Greek bank
Introducing a Civil Engineer. You are strongly advised to hire a Civil Engineer of your choice in order to check the property you like before you buy or pay any advance payment!
Introducing a Public Notary
Meetings with the real estate agent, the buyer/seller discussing the purchase/sale procedure regarding the payment of the price, the deadline for signing the final contract, the drawing up of a pre-contract and the clauses concerning the buyer/seller in case of withdrawal and advising you accordingly
Legal search of the titles at the competent Land Registry Office/Cadastre, which is the most important step before you buy
Preparation of the power of attorney draft which will be forwarded to the Greek Consulate in your country, otherwise it can be signed in Greece before a Public Notary

Meetings with the Public Notary and preparation of the contract to buy/sell and discussions on the purchase/sale procedure in detail
Legal representation of you as a buyer or seller in the purchase contract
Telephone calls and correspondence via e-mail / whatsApp / viber, advising about the progress of the case, the communications and meetings with all the parties regarding the terms of the sale and advising you accordingly
Preparing the property transfer tax (ΦΜΑ in Greek) in cooperation with the Public Notary and arranging to be paid by the buyers before the signing of the purchase contract (the above must be paid at least 2 working days before the signing of the purchase contract)
Representation before the local Public Authorities and Utility Companies
Clarification of the building/zoning regulations concerning the property in cooperation with the Civil Engineer
Property Management Services
